These big companies should be working on multiple smaller (not small necessarily) projects, rather than all eggs in on a mega project. Instead of getting 3 games a year from Psygnosis Games we get 1 game every 8 years from Mega Corp #86

The fastest way for a board to show an increase in revenue is to reduce costs, and the easiest cost to reduce is wages. It's an issue with shareholder run businesses, and rather than bank on shipping a good product, gotta make the financial QTR look good. All in the name of short-termism.

I've had it installed for months but constantly find myself deep into other games. Just need to click play, because everything I've heard is that it's very good.

It doesn't matter if you play the game on easy or excruciating difficulty. All that matters is that you enjoyed yourself.
As for multiplayer games, find your own fun. Play the auto shotgun, the character you like, whatever fun looks like to you.

Edgerunners got me interested in anime again. I was only a casual in the 90's /00's watching Initial D, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball and Yu Yu Hakusho.
I recommend Frieren and Apothecary Diaries. (Surely everyone knows about these 2 though?)
