Well I tackled a difficult job yesterday. Time to clean up my computer contacts. So many feelings as I scrolled through and deleted over and over again. People from past jobs. People who have left my live through moves or choice.People who have died. Didn't delete my Dad - he's still in my heart.

On my birthday (one of ohhh sooo many) I thought this quote appropriate.

I'm a big fan of Lisa See's books, and this one didn't disappoint. Taking place in the late 1400's "Lady Tan's Circle of Women" we are shown the social norms which directed the lives of women. And, we are shown how several women reach beyond to improve the health of their sisters.

With the pressure for "holiday shopping" already ramping up (PS it has been since Halloween!) watch this important documentary on Netflix. Ask yourself before you buy: "Do I need or do I just want it?", "Will it enhance my life?"

Joy can be found in all things. Spent the day with dear women friends visiting a museum, then a bit of lunch..and a glass of wine. Even the drive was an opportunity to talk and bond. Find your tribe! Love them fiercely! Give them the gift your attention. In the end, that is all that matters.
