ROME (CNS) — “Allowing millions of human beings to live — and die — as victims of hunger is a collective failure, an ethical aberration, a historical fault,” Pope Leo XIV said on World Food Day. The pope drove across Rome Oct. 16 to address world leaders and government representatives…

Even in this age of police bodycams and bystander videos, there are certain categories of footage that most media organizations won’t share with the public.

But it’s hard to imagine today’s media suppressing, as they did in 1937, footage from the anti-labor crackdown that resulted in 10 deaths.
The bloody labor crackdown Paramount didn't want America to see
Executives feared their newsreel footage would "cause riots and mass hysteria.”

Both the White House and RNCC have lashed out at the creators of this ad.

It must have struck a nerve. Maybe they don't like being outed as fascists.

You know what to do: SPREAD THIS EVERYWHERE!

Wetlands act as “natural sponges,” absorbing up to an estimated 1.5 million gallons of water per acre.
The economic case for preserving America's wetlands
Healthy wetlands can save money, homes, and lives—if Donald Trump leaves them intact.

Few things can capture the vanity and sheer depravity of Trump.

This video, he posted on his Truth Social account overnight, is as close as you’ll get.

It should greet him at the gates of hell.

As @pemalevy.bsky.social reports:

For nearly a month, Musk has wreaked this havoc, and more, all while benefiting his businesses in ways seen and unseen. But just because he’s doing it doesn’t make it legal, constitutional, or compatible with democratic governance.

So the President has made this terrible airplane accident into a political matter. He wants only the best people, the smartest, the most most stable, code for white men! He makes me sick!

This is Rocco. He's being praised a hero by his neighbors after his barking alerted them to an apartment fire that damaged 24 apartments last week. “They said they never hear him bark but he was barking out of control that something was wrong.” 14/10 good boy Rocco

The dog, Rocco, kept barking until his owner got up from bed and got out. Other tenants heard the dog too.
I love this. Just like my daughter’s Ava who didn’t bark until the night someone was trying too break in her condo.
