This is especially important for VFR flights. Do you specifically check for non standard approach paths? What resources do you use? Do you consider this a possible threat? Do you go further to find out why the approach path is non-standard?

I would say it’s important to stay grounded…but that wouldn’t be very pilot of me. You’ll do great, and good luck!

Amazingly, is still have (counting on fingers and toes)…a few more to go. But since time speeds up as we get older, I’m sure it’ll go by too quickly.

Another friend went out on medical just last month, hopefully he makes it back. So, I’m thankful today.

I used to watch a guy in PAO, modifying and prepping Cessnas and Mooneys for ferry flights to Asia. First stop Hawaii. There are a lot of ways to make money in this biz…not sure I would choose that.

This is the correct answer. The 50 and 100 feet were in my head. I forgot it was a CEO vs NEO difference.

It’s also supposed to add a little forward resistance so that your flare feels like conventional flight controls.

Oof…way more hours than me. I’m only a year and a half on the fleet.

Isn’t it supposed to transition to direct stick to flight control for the last 50-100 feet? I think it’s supposed to “not be noticeable”.
