In this time of increased attacks on higher ed and the erasure of marginalized histories, I’m heartened to know I’ve been able to successfully share knowledge and resources with our students in ways that are meaningful to them.
I hope they go into the world & do the same, and better, for others. 💫

She watched Roots in grammar school and was “consumed with Black culture.” It destroyed her. Made her unchristian. Full of the devil.
