Fundamentally, they cannot succeed, because they reject all forms of social thinking.

Since the late 1940s, 'socialized medicine' has been anathema in America. Our leaders have tied their own hands.

On the other hand, Canada's Conservatives pushed forward that country's Medicare for All.

Genetics is a factor.

But if you walk & maintain your weight, it helps to prevent or postpone the onset of DMII.

Dr Nathan was the US DMPP head!

The Finnish DMPP supports this.

The prevalence of DM has risen much faster than any population genetic change.
Preventing Diabetes: Small Changes Have Big Payoff
Tim and Paul Daly are identical twins. They shared almost everything in childhood, including the genes that predisposed them to diabetes. But, because of small differences in exercise and weight, on...

I agree! Trump is the only American president in recent decades to have praised universal care in Australia, Scotland, and Canada.

In 2016, I thought briefly of voting for him. But I quickly felt it was not worth the risk.

Republican Medicare for All would make it repeal proof!

A walking test demonstrates cardiovascular and pulmonary function.

Walking is a highly developed human function.

It does not measure immunity, future events, environmental dangers, etc.

Pre-diabetes is, in great part, a walking deficiency syndrome.

The swearing in of Ms. Grijalva is not connected to the release of the Epstein files.

He evaded the question.

Professor JB and friends were nine months too late. They had no implementation plan, no designated agency, government to evaluate or implement their underwhelming proposal.

Professor JB has no understanding of policy recommendations, design, or implementation. I cannot believe he wrote this.

That is like breaking when driving down the Continental Divide.

Breaking results in a crash.

Our biggest medical school is in the Caribbean.

The American health care economy is more than twice the size of the whole Russian economy.

If you are an Icelandic or Japanese or Qatari investor, do you invest in Russia or bet on the American health care economy to grow?

The tragedy are our private schools of public health.

As a graduate of the Harvard SPH, I have witnessed more than four decades of private behavior in the name of elite public health.

The UNC Gillings SPH is in tune with & responsible for government action.

I am here to share my insights.

This is remarkably dumb and ahistorical. Russia has been invading what is now Ukraine and murdering Ukrainians since the late 17th century.

Russia has even found Ukrainian Christmas carols anti-Russian.

In an era of global warming, the world does not need American natural gas.

We must find ways to connect, vet ideas, build teams, and act.

I am here to do that. I have specific eye-opening pandemic facts to share.

But also future actions in mind.

I agree it is a very frustrating unsolvable problem. But there are long-term solutions.

I wrote up a strategy in 1993-4 to begin to address intractable NYC (& American) public health problems.

I also have a long-term strategy to address obesity. I could use your ear. Guns are #1 US child killer.

A cardiologist commenting on COVID-19?

Medlife crisis reminds me of midlife crisis.

He has 572K subscribers.

His website topics are random. They may be interesting. But I find no solid theme.

He is not anonymous.
