Nathaniel Knight presented a lecture, "Decolonizing Russian History: Necessary Corrective or a Bridge Too Far?" at Columbia on Friday. Despite the provocative title, it's a tame argument: removing vestiges of imperial narrative is important, but should be done rigorously, avoiding simple claims.
