Honestly, I really enjoy the way you post on Bluesky - the daily life stuff, with the food and other such stuff, really are some of my more favorite posts to see on here. Not sure if that's just a me thing, but it helps make it feel more like a full social media site, and I think it's neat, too.

Dude, chill out a bit, you responded to me unprovoked, 8 months after I wrote this, with multiple posts, I'm just explaining my thoughts from 8 months ago(!), at this point. This is a historically unrepresentative period in our political history, yes. We've reached a level of economic inequality unseen since the Roman Empire. My point isn't that the current political situation is a good one, obviously. You're acting like this has always been the case, but it isn't true.

It's just edgy and uselessly contrarian to act like the government is secretly some cartoonish evil entity, imo.

[...] occurred, change has still occurred, and the betterment of the people has, in the past, been achieved via such collective action. Being hopeless and fatalistic isn't gonna solve anything.

Not something I was expecting a response to, 8 months later, honestly. But, yeah, there have obviously been instances of gross corruption in the past as well. That being said, though, if you actually look back and see the instances where voting, protesting, and proper voter mobilization has [...]
