The Chinese Room made a few good ones. What remains of Edith Finch is very good and they released Still Wakes the Deep earlier this year, but I haven't played yet, so I can't say if its good.

Good point! Those were amazing! I know the makers of Firewatch themselves aren't working on one. They had started on another one (In the valley of the gods) but then got bought by Valve and have since worked on Valve project like Alyx. The game been shelved since.

I mean... I get it, a lot of folks like having background videos but I'll do that with stuff I don't need to pay attention to because I've seen it. Shows should not be designed for this. It just makes them weird/lesser when seen with full attention.

Yep! No complaint regarding whomever redid the glyphs system himself but I really wish he'd been shown this book so he could build on what was instead of fixing something that wasn't broken.
