I’m drained. Mentally. Physically. Financially. But, I’m still here, I’m plotting the path forward.

Outside of it all though, I’m okay, we’re okay. Just taking it day by day.

He was absolutely fine all weekend and into the beginning of the week. Tuesday morning, he expressed the same symptoms from the week before. Tomorrow he goes for lab work to see if there’s anything going on. I fear he may need to see a neurologist, but I’m trying to stay positive.

Now in another turn of events, Steele has been having medical issues of his own. Last week we rushed him to the Emergency Vet for what we thought might be a concussion from hitting his head on the couch the night before. All Vitals were normal at the vet and they felt he was well enough to go home.

They treated Shiloh with so much dignity and respect, and were so kind and supportive. I miss him, badly, the house is so quiet. Our other two dogs, Steele and Kiara, have been getting along and adjusting better than I am some days.

We did everything we could, but he passed about 20 minutes out from the Emergency Vet we rushed him to. If anyone in VT or MA are near Albany, (Latham, NY) or are willing to drive father for quality care, Upstate Veterinary Specialities is the place to go.

Hahaha same, working on the sparkling wine I had left over from last night. Can anyone say Mimosas! 🍊🥂
