Hmm… probably because they are so good together but they both need so much work and when there’s more effort invested the payout feels so much better.

Oh the next chapter is full of fresh Hell. Charlie is doing what she can to make Mathias a good boy. She does have a strong influence over him. He’s already started to disregard Lilith’s orders.
