A matchup between Moradjon and Naoya would definitely be exciting. The Uzbek boxer has been wanting to face Inoue for a long time. Uzbeks define themselves as “strong,” but as in everything else, strength is useless without intelligence. Inoue is fast, powerful, technical, and very smart. İnoue 🔥

Naoya Inoue is about to step into the ring again on May 4.
Not just to fight—but to remind us what elegance, timing, and skill look like in motion.
I’m counting down the days to another masterclass.

We were without power all day. Life came to a halt. Grocery stores and coffee shops were packed with endless lineups. Most shops only accepted cash, refusing any other form of payment. This weekend, we experienced the 15th century.

The photo of the whirling dervish taken by Reuters photojournalist Ümit Bektaş during the protests in Turkey might be the best protest photograph ever captured. It’s magnificent.

I received three recommendation awards from different publishers through the Ontario Arts Council this year. Last year’s awards were inspiring for me. It’s especially meaningful that my book, set to be published mid-year, also received a recommendation award.

Thank you, OAC!

Yes, Dmitry Bivol finally got what he deserved! He had delivered an outstanding performance in the first fight as well, but now he has secured the official victory he rightfully earned. Once again, he proved that he is a great champion.

Cameron and Ben Whittaker will face each other again in April. In Riyadh, the match was stopped after Ben injured his foot due to Cameron’s wrestling moves. This time, Ben will teach Cameron how to box. #Boxing #TeamWhittaker

I really liked the movie ‘Big George Foreman’. It seems like Foreman misunderstood the God he thought he had found. He devoted himself to religion and left boxing. If he hadn’t taken a break, he definitely could have been a legend like Ali and Tyson—maybe even the greatest of all time. #BoxingMovie

Thank you, Lawrence Hill, for his thought-provoking discussion on censorship. His insights were both powerful and deeply relevant in today’s world. I also appreciate PEN Canada for organizing such an important and necessary conversation.

Thrilled and honored to have my application recognized under the Ontario Arts Council’s Recommender Grant program. Grants not only provide financial support but also deliver a powerful ‘keep going’ message. In long, often solitary artistic work, such support is incredibly motivating.

The world of art has lost a true genius. David Lynch was a master who pushed the boundaries of creativity and left an unforgettable mark on our minds. Through his films and works, he made life a deeper, more mysterious place. May his soul rest in peace. #DavidLynch

Ferdi Tayfur, one of the most iconic figures of Arabesque music and a powerful voice for the working class and the marginalized, has passed away. Yet, the sorrow and resilience embedded in his melodies continue to resonate within our collective memory.
