A lovely walk in Randolph today. In the left, doe a deer, she was a little cutie. On the left, Mama swan continues her incubation vigil. She’s the white figure in her nest. Those cygnets will have a story to tell.

OK, fellow Bluesky folk, don’t be jealous. I was trimming a yew, right beside Miss Kim and yes the scent of lilac had me stupefied. I stood up and thought I’d let you in on the scent, ( the photo is a scratch and sniff) 😘

I planted this Lilac bush four years ago. She’s in perfect bloom for Memorial Day.

The white object in the center is Mama swan sleeping on her nest, another white shape behind her, stage left is Daddy swan asleep as well, but staying close to his family. Hopefully we’ll see cygnets soon.
