Not that it matters at this point cuz we cant cry over spilt milk, and of course he isn’t what he used to be, but man could they use the spacing and the shot making that Klay could provide— even now there’s no one on this current roster that can provide that with a measure of consistency

The void at SG is so glaring. DS continues struggle since the trade. And neither Hield nor Podz have the shooting or (at times) the 🏀 IQ needed to truly make a winning impact.

Really like the list Tim. In particular, I like the idea of a Dorian Finney-Smith and/or Cam Johnson — athletic wings who can defend and hit the three at a decent clip which will spread the floor and create space for driving lanes. Depending on the price, one or both of them could raise the ceiling

I think if Hield continues to start, then Kerr is gonna need to sub him out with another shooter, which is where Moody becomes important. Assuming Dray starts at 5, then your 6,7,8 becomes Loon, GPII, & Podz. Moody at 9, with Slow Mo and Waters getting spot minutes depending matchups and game flow

Realistically…what do you think their options are? I know you don’t have a crystal ball, but given where the team is from a cap standpoint with the first apron and such… can they get a 20ish million wing? An archetype like a Kuzma? Maybe a Vucevic type?

I think it needed to be said. You’re right that they’re asking a lot of him, but if he’s gonna be worthy of the value they seem to have placed on him, then he’s got to be better than he’s been

Compound what you listed with Podz’ offensive struggles, JK’s absence, and no secondary scorer/offensive creator… and IMO you’ve got issues

The bench has really, really cooled off. Podz doesn’t look at the rim and Buddy hasn’t been able to hit the broad side of a bus. The gaping hole on the roster is another offensive creator/initiator

Hey Tim! Has it been shared whether this was a full tear or partial tear? Initial output from the team was a sprain, but it must be significant to require season ending surgery. Just curious. Thanks!
