So Facebook, Insta, X, and TikTok are all deleted. How long will this last?
By far my slowest read this year. Good story but the pace was glacially slow 6/10 📚💙 #booksky

Book 5 finished! I mentioned I'd read The Poppy War and got recommended Yellowface. Same author, very different stories! Honestly, this book could probably be 100 pages shorter and tell the same story, but I enjoyed it all the same 7/10

Book 4 finished! A very cute world, pirate ships and travelling through time using old maps. The story itself was nothing special, and the ending was not at all satisfying, but overall not bad 7/10 💙📚

Book 3 of 2025 finished. The Poppy War. Absolutely incredible, I was amazed that, for quite a long book, not a single page dragged. 10/10 a must read for fantasy lovers 💙📚

I've very nearly finished the poppy war, and I'm looking for something to read before the second book, so far I'm thinking either The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig or the Well of Eternity by Richard A Knaak 💙📚

My current read, about a third of the way through, and so far it's absolutely brilliant!

Finally Dark Matter a few days ago. Weird, enjoyable... But weird. I'm not entirely convinced the last third of the book made much sense, there's certainly some sense of "well, isn't it convenient that this is happening now" but not a bad read 6/10

Finished The Alchemist's Secret a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic story so long as you don't think about it too much, there's probably a bunch of historical inaccuracies in there and a couple of plot holes, but it's fun. If you like Dan Brown, this is similar. 9/10

I'm on a quest to read a bunch of books this year, mainly as a way of limiting screen time before sleep. I'll post some short reviews as I finish each one
