I'm not sure why anyone thought they were going to

Just telling on yourself here. They knew it was changing, but didn't bother to check if it affected them?

Brian was largely unknown before the murder. He's also currently primarily known for his murder, and the understanding that he himself is responsible for thousands of deaths, and millions others being in debt or ill.

Well that's because time is a cube and we experience 4 simultaneous corner days not linear time.

It's hilarious that people actually use this as a serious suggestion. It feels like a deliberate mockery of 'compromise'

Yeah but then you get 20 hours of daylight in the summer, and it's not even that dark at 'midnight'

All these discussions remind me that arbitrary names for food at may or may not have is rather silly. Reminds me of when mum 'missed breakfast' but then it was 11 and she was hungry but had to 'wait for lunch'
On a day when she was just sitting at home, still had to stick to the 'meals'

Hawk tuah is supposed to be about going down.

Being on 16mm, it could be argued that even 1080 is more than the actual detail it contains. 4k would be overkill.

Why should your vote count less because you live in LA?

We still have fptp, a system that few democracies use these days. We need to be pushing for a more proportional system.

I'm not even sure if a prison sentence makes you ineligible for the presidency

I assume you also live in the country he'll be running too? You also have to suffer.

Doubtful

Almost as if there isn't that much difference.

X files doesn't have 'filler episodes'. It's an Episodic show, with an occasional arc. That's the entire point you were making wasn't it.

They would feel more like replacements if they actually attempted to make them remotely like the original productions. I can accept the low budget when it resembles 60s TV. But an attempt at 're-imagining' on a low budget makes them just fall flat at this point.

Liam Neeson is from Northern Ireland. He's British.

The whole thing started to seem ridiculous and more importantly, had zero evidence. It's nice to hypothesise about what we don't know but to make up stories about it and then insist it's true.
It's just stupid.

I grew up. That's what made me an atheist. I also realised santa wasn't real.

The top is self defense
December 12, 2024 at 12:41 AM
This is actually the central issue with a lot of 'debates'. The debate on climate change is similar. We should be discussing the nature of the effects, the extent to which it will hurt, what methods are effective at fighting it (and what are not) but we just waste time arguing whether its real.

Irreligion is now the largest 'religious' group in the UK, with many others who declare themselves "Christian" seeing it as a political identity rather than an actual practice or belief.

And yet we still have a state religion and no political party explicitly endorsing Irreligion.

The only thing I can think is that it comes from some twisted form of book snobbery, where 'reading' is somehow better than other forms of media, so they need to be inclusive to those who are unable to read books.

Listen is a perfectly good word. That's what you do. It's still an active process (as opposed to 'hearing' it)

Oz. Had to think of one that happened before Tolkien.
