Heeeeeere's TORA!

Hello? Yes, this is Tora. She. 37. A weird doll.
The previous time I ran this game, the party almost immediately activated an artifact to teleport themselves to Candlekeep, I don't know why everyone is so afraid of confronting Auril about the lack of sun.

The party was pretty sure this was a portal to the 9 Hells (or maybe the Abyss) but couldn't figure out how to close it, so they decided to go through to see if they could close it from the other side. They do not know it is a one-way portal (yet).

It's an infuriating weekly case study in what happens when you remove Humanities from STEM. Like, stop reinforcing the negative stereotypes I have about your governmental contracting STEM obsessed demographic, you absolute muppets.

I love my friends, but this group is particularly bad about:
1. latching on to inborn assumptions and
2. learning that these assumptions are wrong
I can't tell them to ask questions since they are so sure of their assumptions they confidently have no questions.

Which was probably just a misunderstanding surrounding them talking to an NPC about needing the key card, and who they would need to go to, but the repeated result of them being frustrated, having a tantrum, and melting down is a bit tiring.

This is the same player who said "I wrote in my notes we got the key card for this door so it's true" to which I got to say "That is not true, because you haven't talked to the person who is supposed to give you the key card yet."

Wondering if I should just force them to write "this is not what the mission is about" at the top of their notes every session until we overwrite the incorrect memory. Gotta find a way to reinforce those neural paths.

(He is listening to it while playing News Tower, so there is a fun third option that he just missed some details)

He likes to listen to them while playing Eco, and we are having a hard time finding ones he hasn't already watched. As you can tell from my watchlist, my series rolodex is not very helpful

So if you have a recommendation for a modern-set slice-of-life iyashi-kei-leaning dubbed series with more dialogue than action, a lesser focus on romance, and has a binge-able full season released, Kev would appreciate it.

This cafe's playlist is exclusively the eurobeat remix of late 90's early 00's US pop hits, which is making my brain melt a bit
