Giving some dice a face lift today.
A during shot: 8-sided, 6-sided, and 12-sided dice in a paper plate. The numbers have been painted white. The before shot: a metal D&D dice set of green and gold with some numbers easier to read than others. I am presently painting all numbers white.

Me hugging one of my rescue dogs, Regina. She is a large hound. My right hand against my keyboard. I am wearing three rings: one silver with a green-blue gem; one silver with three large gems (red, silver/white, and dark royal blue); and one golden ring with a large red gem in the center and smaller yellow and orange gems creating a firey pattern. My left hand over my keyboard (which is a light pastel pink). My wedding finger has a silver and light blue gem, the middle has a silver ring with a purple heart-shaped gem with smaller purple circular gems decorating the band, and my index finger has a set of purple circular gems going from smallest to largest on the band. All of the rings in this photo and the last came from bath bombs. The beginning stages of a scroll for the Society for Creative Anachronism. This is essentially a "certificate" in the hobby which is given out to folks who have achieved a certain level of skill, whether it's service, arts and sciences, martial prowess, or a handful of other things. The paper (Pergamenata paper) is taped down with artist tape to prevent any curling when I apply ink wash. I have a beveled ruler set diagonally at the upper left corner of the piece, and some colorful mechanical pencils on the upper right. I've sketched a blanket at the top (it has significance with the recipient) as well as some spider webs (same). The middle is very loosely sketched and its contents will be revealed in time.

Snugging my girl, a rescue dog named Regina. She's the queen around these parts. Description: a chonky white girl with black hair snugs her dog, who is some type of American Fox Hound/Tree Walker hound. Only the top half of the face is done, makeup-wise. Same woman from other photo. The eyeshadow matches a tie-dye shirt. More of the same, with a different pose. I experimented with layering. (More of the same as far as image description)

I missed some days of #24daysoftea / #24daysofwhittardtea. I've tried Christmas Tea (6/10), Piccadilly Blend (9/10), English Rose (4/10), Lemon & Ginger (5/10), Ceylon (3/10) and Masala Chai (9/10). I might have repeated some and definitely forgot some. Shrug!

This is tragic.

California dealing with wildfires. Much of the US recovering from an ice storm earlier in the week, many of my friends without water. Alabama is apparently prepping for 6+ inches of snow.

We're pretty much cooked at this point, aren't we?

I received an advent calendar for Xmas of 24 tea bags. My goal is to treat myself through 2025 with random ad. calendars. For now, I will post once a day for 24 days about my tea.

Today's tea: coconut chai. Brand: Whittard. Score: 8/9, would seek out.
