Yeah. This was after I mentioned some fellow converts self-validating by believing some distant or less distant ancestor was definitely Jewish when the person never said that and they’ve got no proof of that. On one hand, I understand the need for feeling valid, on the other hand we just are valid

I’m not completely dismissive of the whole idea being perhaps possible altogether, but I think someone saying they know it to be true of themself is deeply offensive to the memory of Holocaust victims

Ugh, I just learned now some fellow converts are self validating by deciding they’re souls of those who died in the Holocaust. I promise you can deal with insecurity in better ways than that.

They’re pretty impossible to get ahold of, but ugh that they’re also antisemitic :(
