The hell is this bed, even?! Ridiculous

Unsurprisingly, this is the same company responsible for the giant pit downtown, and along west Jasper Ave. They peaked when they built The Pearl, and have been cheaping out since. My last remaining hope is the northern parcel in this development gets sold to someone else, but I doubt it.

An awful result 😕

It's a big issue in the City overall, but this developer is a probably the worst offender of it. They've left several lots in this state for years, and I wish the City could develop bylaws to prevent it. So frustrating.

They are completely useless for anything but the most rudimentary of inquiries, and so frustrating. I usually just open with "speak to an agent" right away, which seems to work the majority of the time.

And as usual, Beljan plays a big role in it. The City is lucky to have a company like them believing in these types of spaces and putting their money where their mouth is.

Indeed. And as odd as the Cactus Rats thing is, I think the Energy City is what confuses me even more. I've never heard that. I've been in Edmonton for 23 of my 36 years, and if you said that name to me, I would not for one second think you're referencing Edmonton (and area).

Feels like they just wanted to lean as far into the "quirky minor league name" thing as possible to hope it goes viral or something? Weird choice for sure.

There is a faction of fans & media who can't look past the occasional mistake he makes because he looks casual on the ice. They'll ignore the incredible & subtle D plays and focus on him getting beat by MacKinnon or icing it accidentally.
