I'm still waiting for that privalege

Individual users can change their settings to not see my replies, of course (“only show replies from people I follow”) but since most people won’t do that, I have to assume that any reply I send is effectively getting reposted to my main feed for most people.

I avoid replying much because of how the “show replies with >X likes” setting works for high-follower accounts. Users who have a low threshold see my replies, then their likes quickly push it over the threshold for others.

I’ve been meaning to post about this but I guess I can just reply here.
