I've been head down trying to get a project done this month for a friend's memorial in May. One of his last projects was this stormcast army, we'd talked through his scheme and I offered to help him with them. In the end he didn't get to finish them so I'm working on that. #warhammer #sigmar

This rhino is why I finally bothered with masking, getting nice straight lines is so much easier using the right tools. And now it's barely visible under the vision slits. #miniatures #warhammer #40k

If you're happy with it, that's certainly a style of dry brushing. But if you want a ready cheat, use your fingernails to test how much pigment your brush is leaving on small edges.
These boys involve three different levels of dry brushing to get the effects I like.

I've had a Warhammer 40k imperial civilian project kit bashed and prepped for ages. Finally decided that they're getting painted random color pallets and random skin tone from.
Fun so far, we'll see if I wash it or just call it good.

It used to be a great deal more accurate to service members, but then they decided to take the in universe propaganda more seriously. Because who could enjoy things this dumb. Me, I loved this crap.

Building the Gondor Tower for some Sigmar terrain went well, wasn't sure I was going to get the final side join done around the whole thing but it seems to have worked out.
