i had an ex who left his bong in his garage all the time and it would freeze and he would have to bring it inside and run warm water over the base of it to thaw it out 💀

a lot of ppl do put ice cubes in their bongs tho cause it makes it feel a lot smoother the colder the water is (in my opinion at least)

you won’t be able to pull any smoke if the water is frozen lol the downstem would likely be frozen in the bong water (ice) and wouldn’t allow any airflow through, the bowl likely wouldn’t light properly either cause you have to be inhaling a little bit while you light the bowl
