No, I do not understand how people keep bringing up the tool argument to claim being an artist when using ai.

Is it that hard to not tag things where the creative party was having the idea and nothing else? Or are you an engraver because you push the print button in your word processor?

You're not an artist if you use AI to generate it, just as much as someone that hires a carpenter to build them furniture is not a carpenter themselves.
