There were some previous events many years ago that I never had time for because of work. This is a good opportunity for such players to still get it.

When Pokémon Go players joined, portal quality dropped—many blamed Niantic for not letting them cheat. I hope without this crowd things improve. Sure, Ingress players also sent junk, but our community’s intent felt different than in Wayfarer with pogo's.

A few years ago, I also considered the slogan "Make Ingress great again," but my activism came to nothing. Shame on me.
