I had to stop reading Ben Bova books. It's just too real to see a future where the ultra rich control everything, regular people can die and no one cares, politicians and govt officials are easily bought, and the morality police control policy. It's not the escape in looking for.

Every year I give up social media for March. No media March I call it. Luckily, nothing is going on in the world at the moment. No Facebook, Bluesky, Reddit, YouTube, and also no news or online gaming. I just need to go analog for a bit.

#athought White men (WM) in the USA feel like they've lost status. The rise of affirmative action & executive overpay don't exactly mirror, but are similar. As income/pay of WM decreased, that of non-whites/CEOs increased. It's not due to AA, but to corp greed/pay. CEO pointed to AA as the problem
