Sure. I plug in my phone.

Did I miss something or is there no observability-related dev room at fosdem? (If you don't count the ebpf room)

Call me crazy, but I don't get the battlefield hype.
Played it for a couple of hours yesterday and honestly it's just not fun. It's not even that it's bad per se it's just not my type of game. It just doesn't feel competitive. Like it doesn't make a difference if you win or lose or whatever

At the doctors, sit down, dude with docker hoodie on the other side and something in me just wants to go "sick hoodie" and then I remember that I'm German and don't do chit chat with strangers 🙈😂

#Kubernetes community, SIG-apps is working on adding new metrics to the StatefulSet controller upstream. Are there specific metrics you’ve felt were missing that would help in debugging or operating StatefulSets in production?

I know this is opening pandora's box, but what is your favorite keyboard? Or one that you'd recommend

Preferably one that is not crazy load and works both on Mac and Linux machines decently.

Note to self: yes that 6 am flight is, in fact, too early.

In other news: made door to door (or airplane seat for that matter) in 40 minutes.

I really don't mind paying my taxes but like, can you just deduct the right amount ever month and not go "please pay us 5000€ now for this year extra"?

There was like a nice terminal that you could use for conference talks but I can't remember for the life of me what it was called. @sethvargo.com used it I think, but since I deleted my fucking twitter account, I can't go back to check 🤦‍♂️

You check in a file to a GitHub repository. The repository is private.
That means the file is private, right?
If you were to view this file "raw", it would still be private?
You couldn't just curl the URL and the file despite the fact that you're unauthenticated?

If you are upgrading from a tiny bit of an older version, beware that there are some breaking changes in here.
we have this buddy that bit me github.com/kubernetes/i...

Am I the only one who's wondering why KubeconEU has to be in the only country to have every exited the EU?

who in the world uses `---` in CRD description when you put all your weird yamls in one giant file?

Apparently k0smotron does --> docs.k0smotron.io/stable/insta...

There goes my automated file splitting

What the fuck is up with doctors using those stupid "digital assistants"?
How annoying is it, that I can't just ask a question and instead need to talk to robot for 5 minutes and still don't have an answer?

I've just updated all of my Prometheus monitoring trainings at training.promlabs.com to Prometheus v3 and also updated most other component versions (Alertmanager, exporters, Prometheus Operator, SDKs, ...) to keep things fresh.

Check out the trainings if you want to learn @prometheus.io :)

When people say that they love a chromebook for travel, do they mean business travel and if so, how do they get their normal work done? or do they not work during business travel?

this might sound a little uneducated, but I don't have a Chromebook and I'm very curious
