Oh, I know. I'm just making my light of my situation. I actually did a hugely popular all-ages webcomic for about twenty years. Burnout is definitely real.

Awww, thank you! Ironically, this is how I've been taking breaks from illustration work. I know, I know ... "taking a break from drawing by drawing?" It's amazing how hard it is to draw a single line of something boring and how easy it is to complete an entire page of something you love. Hahahaha!

Thanks - was feeling a bit guilty and felt I definitely needed to share something before Pride month was over.

Yeah, I get that it's cultural and has lots of unfortunate sources but, to me, it just doesn't come off well. I like to show characters that are happy to be with each other. There's nothing worse than knowing the other person is just going through the motions.

Yeah, I get that. I don't typically go out of my way to watch porn but on places like Twitter, there are always clips popping up and with Japanese stuff, as example, the girls are always making it sound as if this isn't something they want to be doing. That's not arousing at all to me.

I know. This new site clearly took hints from Twitter but word count is something that needs to be addressed. It'd be an instant positive move for them with a lot of people.

Yeah, that never goes well with me, either. I can't even watch porn from certain countries because there's this undertone of resistance going on and that's ... that's so awful.

Agreed. For me, I just like having some kind of theme. It keeps me interested and pushes me to think on a deeper level. I mean, after so many years of drawing nudes, a pose is a pose. What you come up with to use that pose for is where the real magic is.

Well, yeah, I don't suppose Playboy would be the right place but, in spirit, their cartoonists didn't go for 'extreme' anything. They kept the idea of sex fun and, dare I say, healthy. I want that same theme in what I do. Love and excitement and joy always look the same, no matter who it's with.

Aw, thank you! I truly appreciate that! I grew up loving those Playboy guys that made sexy into something fun and I think the trans community needs that.

I appreciate it. It's sweet of you to just like what I do enough to want one.
