November is National Homelessness Awareness Month. Let’s act: volunteer, share a meal, donate. I voted to invest over $130K in the Wausau–Marathon County Shelter and created a 2026 Public Health Coordinator to support shelter/housing. Together, a safe home for all.

This was once a dream. Today it’s a reality. I’m proud during my time at the Hmong American Center, I secured funding to teach & preserve our traditional Qeej. With so few people today who still know how to play this instrument, programs like this are more important than ever.

What an incredible honor to join the Hmong Committee of 100 for their 50 Years of Progress Gala this weekend. A room of 1,100+ political, business, education, and nonprofit leaders from across the community came together to celebrate Hmong success, Truly a remarkable night!
