yeah the resourcing/resource decision making is cool. It doesn’t quite have that Magic experience like the stack but the games are interesting and complex still. Plus SWU has good limited/draft experience, which is a big factor for me

I’ve been wanting to try out Riftbound! All of the events near me have been sold out, even tried going to their booth at PAX and there was an insane line. People seem hyped for the game tho

yeah I’m done with magic at this point. I can’t keep up with 7 standard sets a yr (some of being UB “premium priced” sets) as a mostly standard player, even if I wanted to. The release schedule is insane. I’ve been playing Star Wars Unlimited and it’s just as fun n doesn’t put a hole in my wallet

idk maybe I’m underestimating the value you get from immediately drawing the card with something like spirited companion vs this where you have to wait for your opponent to attack into it
