Probably just a young one, but I wouldn't mind seeing more photos of this bird.

I hit 500 species on my life list this week in a strange and anticlimactic way - from a photo taken 9 years ago. I specifically hoped to avoid this but happened to see a super similar photo on What's This Bird? and my curiosity couldn't let it go. Bird #500 White-backed Vulture. 🪶

I'm the only weirdo birder I know who uses a monocular, rather than binoculars. I also didn't have a camera until recently, so all my bird photos were cell pics, usually shot through the monocular. Some call these digibins, but I don't have bins. So for four years, I was shooting digimon!
