The Heavy was always in the movie, maybe they should rewatch the movie

Its really nice to have people to relate to, even if we don't know each other

Great minds think a like

Hey man, its alright. If you ever need a shoulder to lean on, you've got people to talk to.

This thread's getting long. Closing thoughts. Do I think the tech could be used in the future? Maybe. I can really only see this working for some kind of non-euclidean game, though. It's too early to say for sure, but I think I'll atleast keep an eye on this thing

If the AI was playing a game that had defined level design, such as Mario, the flaws of the AI would be on full display for anyone to see, without some kind of shield to hide behind, even if only partially.

I think Minecraft was chosen to showcase the technology to hide it's shortcomings. Minecraft is well known for its randomly generated worlds, which is perfect for the AI since it doesn't have to make things perfect (not like it could),

Don't get me wrong, the AI model is very impressive, it's a technical marvel that this is even possible, but it just feels like a gimmicky tech demo. Who knows where the tech's gonna be in a few years, but it just feels like Minecraft was chosen for a reason...

Simply put, an AI just can't beat handwritten lines of code. It'll just get caught up in its own delusions trying to remain consistent that it isnt.

This isn't everything I have to say about the "game", but it should be enough to get my point across. I think it's crazy they made a computer to play a game that could already run on a normal computer, but now its worse.

few blocks or so. Near the end of the video, a structure made of birch planks manifested itself and then it turned into sandstone, then sand, and then back to sandstone again?? What? I assure you, this "game" is every bit confusing as it sounds.

5. The world is constantly changing. It's most obvious when you turn the camera around and the area has completely changed. It even changes the terrain WHILE you're looking at it! I walked into a village farm, and it got bigger and kept going down a block every...

It connects to a block of nothing. At one point, I placed a few fences, and apparently they're cells because they went through mitosis, apparently? The AI really likes to generate new things when there shouldn't be new things. (These problems arent exclusive to fences too)

4. FENCES. The fences just aren't right. I don't know what they fed the AI, but it seems to like fences. A lot. Every block I placed was a fence. It doesn't even place fences correctly. Multiple times I would place a fence and

you'd expect was the bread. I ate it, and that was it. At one point in the video I tried to place down a door, but instead it was a fence, and that brings me to the next problem:

3. Items are constantly changing. At the beginning I started with 40 oak fences, 2 seeds, 1 carrot, 3 seeds, 2 sticks, a crafting table, and 10 bread. Through out the video the items were constantly shifting to different ones. The only one that functioned as...

2. Cont. There was also a moment about halfway in where I tried to switch to slot 5, but it kept going to a different slot. Slot 5 was empty so it wasn't a huge deal, but still, I would not want a glitch like this in any version of Minecraft, AI or not

2. The hotbar just isn't good. You are forced to use the num keys to switch to a different slot, which is a lot less convenient than using the mouse wheel to quickly switch to a slot. I do not want to look down at my keyboard to switch slots.

1. The camera moves at a snails pace. I could drag my mouse from one end to my house to the other and the camera would probably only turn halfway
