So what mechanism do you have for that? Not much, other than letting Canadians keep ALL of what they earn (and how lovely it would be to not have to file income tax returns). Replace that lost tax revenue by taxing the stuff that hurts Canadians and our lands. Be bold! We're ready!

The federal government and BoC aren't going to allow deflation, and the federal government has limited ability to increase wages. What's the point of job creation in an economic environment where people can't get by on what they earn? Our government MUST address the issue of real wages.

Canadians are struggling financially. We need to address the issue of eroded real wages, urgently. Itty-bitty income tax cuts aren't going to do it. Get rid of income taxes COMPLETELY and replace them with Harm Taxes (i.e., tax the things that harm the health of humans and the environment).
