The President’s push to criminalize flag burning is unconstitutional. The Supreme Court already ruled it’s protected free speech. Attacking the First Amendment doesn’t make us safer—it weakens democracy. We’ll fight back in the streets, in the courts, and in the legislature.
The President’s move to criminalize flag burning is unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has already ruled (Texas v. Johnson, 1989) that flag burning is protected free speech. Attacking the First Amendment doesn’t make us safer or stronger, it undermines our democracy. Nothing he will do will stop us from fighting in the streets, in the courts, and in the legislature.

Children deserve safety in schools, churches, and communities — not fear. Thoughts & prayers aren’t enough. We need action to end gun violence now.
