Yeah, I've seen Sylvester before at free talks, but now they've more than doubled the cost of it with David alone! Definitely a bit cheeky.

Yeah, just got my email. As I was really only planning to come to do the David talk, and probably Jenna's as well, I think I might cut my losses and take the refund. I managed to pick up a reasonably priced ticket to see Matthew Rhys on Sunday at the Old Vic so I'll save my energy for that.

They really ought to as they're no longer going to provide what we actually paid for. They can't force us to pay more for what's now a different thing.

Ugh, they are absolutely useless. I think I'll just ask for a refund and not bother going. I'm not feeling inclined to give them more money at this point.

They probably have to have people out of the building by a certain time. Maybe I'm just cynical, but I know cons tendency to oversell people, so... 🤷♀️

There's an uncharitable part of me thinking they know David will overrun on photos/autos so they thought they'd make sure someone would be on stage to do a talk.

Yes, same here. I think they should have contacted existing ticket holders before the new tickets went on sale.
