Last weekend I was mainly camping and had a episode of sorts Saturday night, wasnt super fun but the saturday in the day it was alright. Went to a lake called heart, went hiking to get to. Rockchuck, and a cliff face where old timers used dynamites.

As horrified as I was with getting zero gold when there shoulda be 😭 still had a good day out, Spider, had a good run through the Banjo Pan, and Pumice Stone

Banjo pan puttin in that work, its a very lite portable sluice. The material is dredge tailings, slurry goes into a self dug tailings pond, reclamation easy, the fish love the material, had many minnows and trout swim towards the disturbance and new shady pits.

Gold Bearing Lead Ore
A mixed Cu/Pb sulfide with Hematite and Limonite infected crystal structures, this ore piece is highly magnetic resulting in a strong attraction to Neodymium magnets, under a microscope I can see Gold in the mix.

Some Panning and Rockhounding this weekend, I talked with fishermen about werewolves. My panning sediments attracted a pike to the shore, The Pike was caught, she has a tag on, subsequently released. The RedBug is a chigger, they are like mosquitoes. Lower Clark Fork, found gold and REE's.

Diggin out some maps, documents out of my extensive library, in preparation for the mining season, and a big trip comin up soon, to locate old mine sites, usually to report nasty ponds to the BLM, and to collect gold, and rare earths in host rock Quartz.
Maps from good frens at MBMG.
