Although this mini study definitely has its caveats, this is what I’ve found till now:

English conversion rate is at least DOUBLE the Arabic 🥶

Referrals are my #1 source of clients. In 2024, I got about 7-8 freelance leads who were referred by existing clients.

I believe honesty, transparency, and dedication are key to establishing a level of trust with clients that would make them recommend you without thinking twice.

Do you think the site reputation abuse policy poses a threat on legit guest posts that provide quality content & contain a few links back to the author’s website?

I’m sure Google could falsely flag many of those as violating although they’re not…

Here's how one of my local SEO clients has been doing. It's an electronics repair store in the US.

The client has done great at incentivizing customers to leave positive Google reviews, but:

There’s a HUGE difference between how the SERPs look in English (in the US) and in other languages like Arabic.

Arabic SERPs still don’t have:
1- AI Overviews
2- All those Google Shopping assets
3- The relatively new Google assets like Discussions and Forums, etc.

Some SEOs: "UsE ChaTGpT fOr EnTITy AnALysis"

Me: "ChatGPT, do entity analysis on this 404 URL"
