yea FUGA 1 is definitely like furry WWII. though experiencing it through the innocent, naive eyes of children manages to keep it cute and palatable enough for a bunch of people to make their own little war orphan OCs. Tail Concerto is where it's at though, it hits almost just like Mega Man Legends

yea they seem like just cute little disconnected animal games at first, but it's got some strange connective tissues.. they've even got real public safety mascots in there somewhere

i've thought the exact same so far, beyond the aesthetic similarities it has the cheesy anime feel too, down to the sudden random love interests even. it's very charming. have you played Solatorobo? it's always existed in my gaming periphery since seeing it in GameInformer(?)
