I would highly recommend the book "Churchill's Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" by Giles Milton which gives a detailed look into the history of the SOE. It especially highlights the absolute weirdos involved like the guys that made the first limpet mine out of a mixing bowl, candy and condoms.

Used to. Mostly older/foreign coins that I came across while working a cash register. Haven't worked a register in years so the collection has sat pretty dormant. Coolest I ever got was while working fast food some high-school kids paid for their food with an 1887 US silver dollar.
