It may not look as pretty as @nigella.bsky.social Buche De Noel, but I make this every year on Christmas Eve as its my mother's favourite dessert.
I thinking that this year I'll serve it with black cherries in Kirsch

I need to get more confident with colourwork, and definitely practice my tension over two hands.
I've just finished my Arne & Carlos advent stocking. I'm really happy with how it turned out, but definitely need more practice!

After a suggestion by @lensman60.bsky.social I popped a couple of tunnocks tea cakes in the freezer, they only lasted an hour or so before the 11 year old came home.
Verdict : oh yeah! Crispy chocolate and biscuit, and squishy mallow still.
There's two more in the freezer for tomorrow 😂
