It’s open slander season on the Pels & honestly, some of it’s deserve, but it’s felt like this has been a running theme by those national talking heads & podcasters for the last 5-6 seasons just over the whole Zion/BI/Griffin era now into Joe Dumars who was tarred & feathered at the end of Detroit.

Yes, he did try to trade away Chris Paul to the Lakers and Boogie left on unsavory terms but it’s the attempt to build around his stars married with disruptive injury history (sound familiar) that hurts his record.

If teams can’t hold a lead of more than a few runs, they deserve to lose. Like you said, the Cubs have scored first but their inability to protect it, against a team like Milwaukee, is unfortunately their undoing. If you cant get length out of your starters to save your Pen, you’re doomed, like NYY.
