I can’t understand why. The fascists hate the tourists but love their money. Plus they’ve erected so many barriers to entry that it could cost you thousands and tons of stress. Just don’t come here. It’s not worth it and it’s dangerous. Go somewhere nicer.

I’m kind of hoping some teams opt out. It would hurt the sport but would be a very visible protest of what is happening here. Our constitutional republic is being torn down. Putin is calling the shots and showing that we didn’t win the Cold War after all.

The people I’ve talked to say it’s too difficult and complicated to visit the US anymore. Now we’ve added dangerous to the reasons to avoid us. I’ve asked friends to please not come here while this regime is in power.

I wish they’d do it, but they won’t. They don’t want to hurt their own businesses which are dependent on US exports and imports. They’ll silently see us as a pariah and discuss our crimes amongst themselves. Maybe they’ll take steps to reduce their dependence on the US. I wish they’d do more.

Trump is a Russian asset. He and his team will do everything in their power to promote Russian interests over Ukrainian interests. They claim they’re just interested in peace, but that’s just a cover. They don’t care about peace, they care about Russia succeeding in Ukraine and on the world stage.

I’m all for banning X and Facebook, but Europe needs American technology, expertise and tax dollars. Europe has an opportunity now to capture those from the US and use them for good rather than evil.

Cut deals with China and India for expanded trade and start replacing the US in your supply chains. Encourage US companies to relocate to Europe. Europe has been sleeping but they have enormous economic power.
