Since April 2023, I have been protesting Chinese officials’ human rights abuses in front of the Chinese Consulate in Nagoya. Last summer, a Chinese student in Japan informed me they had been mobilized by the authorities. State security has also repeatedly threatened to abduct me back to China.

Now, they are using more covert methods to suppress Chinese nationals overseas. They are mobilizing overseas students to attempt to hire local private investigators to collect personal information and carry out suppression efforts.

Their so-called care and concern for vulnerable groups is nothing more than empty words. In reality, their actions are nothing but constant persecution of the weak. This society leaves no trace of hope.
