When my grandparents died people constantly offered me this comfort and I was like "No, it just sucks that they died, they were good deserved to live for as long as they wanted to. No number makes it ok."

I remember when the discourse about free healthcare was "Oh, but what if I have to change doctors" or whatever. The thing you could learn from Trump is to just trample that with overpromising and never admitting the nuance. Just say you'll get better healthcare for free. It's mostly true.

I think the problem is that the economy is very bad and will be for a very long time, no matter who's in charge. I think the problem with Democrats is not that they make the economy worse, it's that they fail to offer bold movements towards progress (e.g free healthcare) that would also look better.

Seems like there are two questions:
1. Is the economy doing well?
2. Is the economy doing better than it did under Trump?
I know that people are dying on the hill of 2, but what do you think the answer to 1 is?

His point, though, is that we have to do something about the way the economy looks, not assume that this is necessarily a response to objective reality that needs to be changed. Making the economy better is always good ofc, I don't think he'd disagree.
