It’s the worst when it’s people we love.

So, I’m redirecting my energy—to the people who want to grow, to the communities that do embody love and understanding, and to myself, who deserves peace over pointless explanations.

Yet here I am, repeatedly pleading for compassion, respect, and kindness in spaces where they should already live.
I’ve learned that those who choose not to understand will not be moved by reason or empathy they’ve long since ignored.

Typically, someone provides a tip to ICE, which prompts their arrival. Once on site, they begin questioning both staff and students. The children are not suppose to prove anything, it’s their parents.

This one is hard for me! 😩
