Second, my mother-in-law saw that Baskin Robbins was having a black cat event for October, remembered I have a black cat who's very dear to me still in the states, and bought so bought me the black cat variety pack as a surprise gift! It was so thoughtful!

Previous post was negative, so this next one will focus on a couple positives that also happened today.
First, I was able to grab the GODIVA x CLAMP metal tumblr that dropped today, and the random sticker I received with it was the one I was hoping for the most: Watanuki and Shaoran!

Okay...tell me this isn't the most kid team you've ever seen (affectionately). I have 8 badges in this save, but only Blaziken is level 62. The next highest is 22?! No wonder I could never beat the elite 4 lol

Something I was really surprised to find was not only my copy of Pokemon Sapphire still in the box, but all the original manuals and promotional leaflets as well! I have no idea what possessed tiny me to keep it all, but it's really cool to see how they were promoting systems and games at the time.

The battery in my 3DS bulged and needs to be replaced, but remarkably my og pink ds lite works perfectly! I believe I received it when I was around ten, so it's remarkable the stickers are still holding on.

Probably not a surprise to anyone, but still cool to see firsthand that eggs can both catch and be cured of spreading Pokerus before hatching.

Hangyon's good with everyone, but I've especially been liking his unfolding relationship with Badobarm (which is unfortunate since I think Badobarm's name is one of the weirdest and Sanrio's a coward when it comes to deciding his skin color)

So I go to help him make them public, and the first thing he shows me is a binder with just one singular pyukumuku card in it. I go, "you know you can display just one card in a display board, right?" And he goes, "Yeah, I know, look." AND IT'S THE SAME PYUKUMUKU CARD. (2/3)
