See, you are referring to ‘these journalists,’ but not all the journalists are writing these objectionable pieces. The New York Times is independent, and Infowars was/is small—that’s not a magic solution to poor ethics, social biases and prejudice.

To make employees responsible for everything their organization does is so extreme and also counter-productive. It ignores all the legitimate, positive, human-rights-advancing work that can be done and is being done within this system —unacceptably flawed as it may be

You probably work for an organization with ethics issues as well :/. This is a media outlet that publishes a variety of things —harmful transphobic opinion pieces, and positive trans advocacy and other journalism. It’s possible to work for it and make a positive impact. Some trans ppl write there!

No, it shouldn’t be. Journalism is good and necessary for society, actually, and many people do it ethically and responsibly. These videos were used today to debunk the Trump administration’s narrative on Renee Nicole Good’s murder by ICE. Individuals are not organizations.
