On a more positive note. My gardenias are in bloom and lounging on my deck now in the still of the night with the fragrance they put into the air is…magical.

The conversation needs to shift within liberal media. Too much hope is being placed within a party without power. It shouldn’t be “what are the democrats doing” it should be “what are we the people doing”. Dem leadership has repeatedly said this themselves.

I simply cannot talk to people on the phone anymore. The conversation is never the focus without interruptions between them playing games on their phone or having side bar conversations. This used to be considered rude. Feels like everyone does it now. Just text or email me at this point.

I don’t think there is not hope for Florida. I do think democrats feel we are a lost cause and put little energy into us and I hope we start finding leaders within our communities to strengthen our turn out and shift us towards a better future. Florida is a beautiful place not just a punchline.

I dunno what part of Bluesky I stumbled onto but apparently all the gyms were empty except for the guys that were able to get shirtless pictures of themselves. This isn’t a complaint.

I don’t see how it is productive at all anymore for people to continue lumping all Democrats in together when there is clearly Democrats talking a stance. It’s a disservice to them to lump them in with those being complacent. Say who isn’t doing anything by name.

I always circle back to this but the fact to me that people are still on twitter says a lot. How that platform isn’t a wasteland and why people feel justified in using it gives me the same “not voting” vibe. Like stop crying about anything if you can’t do the very bare minimum.
