Is Piggy referring to his attempted coup on January 6th?

Seeing the way the DNC has been reacting to the New York mayors race leads me to believe they've learned absolutely nothing from the last 2 losses to arguably the most beatable opposition candidate in history...

.. kinda makes me think they'd rather the country burn than give up being corporatist.

Democrats have had no long-term plans for 40 years to achieve their alleged goals. All they do is fundraise by saying "we're not Reagan/Bush/Trump." My advice to liberals is to stage a mutiny and wrestle the party away from Wall Street, starting with Mamdani in NYC, and then work outward from there.

The problem with the DNC in a nutshell -
July 4, 2025 at 5:11 PM
I fear the DNC is no closer to acknowledging/ understanding their mistakes now than they were 9 years ago

Will the DNC finally stop propping up corporate Dems at the expense of the party's future or is the lure of special interest handouts just too much to walk away from?

The people want representation, ignoring that fact has created widespread disenfranchisement.
After Trump’s victory, Democrats are more pessimistic about their party’s future
The partisan gap in Republican and Democratic views of their parties’ futures (35 percentage points) is much larger than after any recent election.

If ever there was any truth to "We need the second amendment untouched so we can fight any tyrannical government that tries to take over"..

.. ice rounding up American citizens and bypassing due process is the time.

There are no excuses left for not getting firearms under control.

We should normalize writing eulogies about people we care about and giving it to them while they're still alive.

In 1949 the Fairness Doctrine was established to curb media from creating a false narrative. It made the media legally responsible for devoting time to both sides of an argument.

Reagan ended the Fairness Doctrine so that right-wing media could begin their decades long effort to erode public trust

The last thing the party needs is leadership that alienates generations of voters.

The Reformers stand with young people: It's time for Chuck Schumer to step down and make way for a bold, uncompromising leader with a finger on the pulse of young voters.
