What's the point comparing Del Grosso to IDT, Seixas and Widar?
Performing at 19 doesn't always mean you'll be the best in the end either. MVDP hadn't won anything on the road before '19 (24yo), he turned out quite okay (and is much more similar to Del Grosso)
